In the picture from San Francisco – THE STREET IS ACTUALLY SLOPED, not the houses. Whomever formatted this page is cheating.
Booooo…
Um, isn't it obvious that it's the photographer rather than the buildings that are leaning in the San Francisco street photo?
Olympic statium in Canada should be there its the tallest leaning building in the world
Most historical houses in Amsterdam are build with a forward leaning front. This is done because pedestrians feel that the building is bigger and more impressive. Especially bankers and other rich people used this false-ego technique to show off. The style has not been in use anymore until a large office building in the south-axis area of Amsterdam showed a similar style. Off course it was owned by the ABN/AMRO bank showing off it's arrogance in a time they'd rather be good to their clients because it was the taxpayer funding and refunding their credit-crisis needs after all….
